Accelerated Christian Education, Inc. Trademark Usage Policy
This Trademark Usage Policy will show you the proper use of Accelerated Christian
Education (A.C.E.) trademarks and logos. The terms of this section apply to the entire
Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) Website.
Use the Correct Symbol
When using an A.C.E. trademark in text form ("A.C.E. Mark") use the correct
® or TM symbol.
The basic rule is if you are using a A.C.E. Mark that is registered with the U.S.
Patent & Trademark office the ® symbol should be displayed, and if the A.C.E.
Mark is not yet registered, the TM symbol should be displayed. Once an A.C.E. Mark is
correctly attributed on a document or web page, it is not ordinarily necessary to mark
subsequent appearances of the trademark in the piece. Every appearance of an A.C.E.
Mark in stylized form or design ("A.C.E. Logo") should also appear with the
appropriate ® or TM symbol, and may be used only under license from A.C.E..
Do Not Alter A.C.E. Marks or A.C.E. Logos
When using an A.C.E. Mark, never vary the spelling, add or delete hyphens, make one
word two, or use a possessive or plural form of the A.C.E. Mark. When using an A.C.E.
logo, never modify the design, add or delete any words, change any colors or
proportions.
Only A.C.E. products and services may be used in conjunction with an A.C.E. logo.
A.C.E. Product Names
No third party logo or mark can be used in conjunction with the A.C.E. Marks for A.C.E.
product names. In other words, do not combine the A.C.E. Marks with third party
trademarks.
Wherever an A.C.E. Mark or A.C.E. logo appears with another company trademark or logo,
the A.C.E. Mark or A.C.E. logo must be at least as large as the trademark or logo of
the other company.
Using Footnotes for Correct Attribution
It is A.C.E.’s policy to attribute A.C.E. Mark and A.C.E. logo use by placing the
information in a footnote as follows:
Example: "_____ is a trademark or a registered trademark of Accelerated Christian
Education, Inc."
There is no "boilerplate" footnote. The blank space should be a list of all
A.C.E. Marks and A.C.E. logos that appear in that particular piece. If all A.C.E. Marks
and A.C.E. logos are registered trademarks, then the footnote should indicate as such.
Footnotes should always be complete sentences, and ordinarily appear on the copyright
page, on the last page of the material.
Power Point & Other Presentations
A.C.E. Marks and A.C.E. logos, should always be attributed with the proper symbol and
footnoted on all presentations that are displayed to the public (sales, trade shows
etc). If a presentation is used internally, the A.C.E. Marks and A.C.E. logos should be
attributed but need not be footnoted.
Third Party Licensors
Some A.C.E. products include technology used under license from third party licensors.
You may not use any such third party trademark without express permission from the
owner.
Reservation of Rights
A.C.E. is the owner of all right, title, and interest in the A.C.E. Marks and A.C.E.
logos. No person or entity may reproduce or use (or authorize the reproduction or use
of) the A.C.E. Marks or A.C.E. logos in any manner other than expressly authorized by
A.C.E.. Unauthorized use of A.C.E. Marks or A.C.E. logos is strictly prohibited.
A.C.E. may, at its sole discretion, modify the A.C.E. Marks or A.C.E. logos at any time.
Please refer to the A.C.E. Mark Chart periodically to ensure your compliance. In order
to assure compliance and quality of control, A.C.E. may request that you provide
samples of any marketing, advertising, or other material that includes the A.C.E. Marks
or A.C.E. logos.
