Q. What is aceconnect Technology Training?

A. The launch pad to our ecurriculum, aceconnect Technology Training is an up-to-date computer literacy program that offers self-paced interactive instruction in many computer applications, including the Microsoft® Office 2007 suite, Microsoft Vista®, and the Microsoft® and Macintosh® operating system environments.

A. Any upper level student who needs to fulfill the requirement for one computer literacy credit should take this course.

A. The retail price is $65.95. The online version and CD-ROMs are the same price. Please refer to the A.C.E. Catalog and Price Guide.

A. The ONLINE version offers more features for one low price.

Q. What computer requirements are recommended to run aceconnect Technology Training online?

A. You will need the following hardware and software requirements in order for aceconnect Technology Training to run properly.

Q. What level of support does A.C.E. provide their customers?

Q. How long will it take for my student to complete the course?

A. The student has access to the content for one calendar year. In that time, he should complete two sections of an Operating System Tech Track and one entire Microsoft Office Tech Track. If the student works 45 minutes a day Monday through Friday, he will complete the course in approximately six to seven months, depending on the Microsoft Office version. This translates into an estimated 150-170 hours, which is equivalent to one computer literacy credit required for graduation.

Q. What are Tech Tracks?

A. Tech Tracks provide structured sets of courses to help students gain knowledge in one or more subjects. Each Tech Track contains several software applications.

Q. Is Technology Training available for school and church personnel?

A. Yes. Anyone may purchase aceconnect Technology Training for his own personal growth. Because of the quality and comprehensiveness of the curriculum, school administrators may request that their staff take advantage of this program to keep current with changing technology and to be more efficient in their jobs. Parents may also purchase aceconnect Technology Training.

Q. Does aceconnect Technology Training have the same Christian principles and character objectives found in the PACEs?

A. Accelerated Christian Education is providing students with self-paced online tutorials through Element K. Element K is a leading provider of online technology training to universities and Fortune 100 companies. A.C.E. selected Element K for its technology-training program due to its unparalleled instructional quality and exceptional online learning management capabilities. Students will be able to view Biblical principles every time they log in to aceconnect Technology Training. Although the content developed by Element K is not distinctly Christian, A.C.E. has incorporated the 60 character objectives into the program along with verses about salvation.

the United States?
