The Standard of Excellence in achievement testing for 80 years, the Stanford
Achievement Test Series now offers a state-of-the-art Tenth Edition to measure student
progress toward high academic standards. The Stanford 10
multiple-choice assessment helps parents find out what their child knows and is able to
do. Parents will obtain reliable data to evaluate progress toward meeting content
standards for each grade level by identifying the gaps in their child's learning
experience. The standardized test results can reveal strengths and weaknesses in the
child's knowledge. Parents will better understand how they can help their child achieve
success. This test is administered upon enrolling in a different curriculum. Also, it
is administered in late April or the first of May each year and is referred to as
spring testing.
Measure Performance on Standards
All new questions, unique across forms and levels, were developed from extensive review
of national and state standards. The Stanford 10 questions mirror as closely
as possible the developmental process of good instruction and the kinds of
instructional activities and materials used in exemplary programs such as A.C.E.
