- Be fluent in English
- Be a high school graduate or adult
- Be familiar with the A.C.E. curriculum
- Complete the A.C.E. Supervisors' Professional Training Course
(at home or abroad)
- Have a heart to serve the children of the world
- Be willing to commit up to a year of service or more
