ABCs with Ace and Christi (Learning to Read) A.C.E.’s multi-sensory, phonetic learning-to-read program, often referred to as Level 1, is designed to prepare a child for the individualized instruction of the PACE curriculum. Within a period of 12 to 15 weeks, he becomes acquainted with phonics through animals, songs, and stories. Physical and character development skills are built through poems, displays, and a variety of activities. These features help him learn: Letter sounds Alphabet sequence Word relationships Following this 12- to 15-week tutorial program, the child is ready to begin the journey of the self-paced individualized program.
