Clothespin Turkey

Teach a character trait of Christ with this cute turkey craft! Cut a circle and square out of construction paper. Fold the square in half to create a beak. Glue all paper parts and googly eyes together. Glue the head to the clothespin. Place your leaf in the clothespin. Write down a character trait and a verse associated with the trait.

Get your lower-level students ready for Thanksgiving with this fun and easy craft! Cut a circle, handprint, and square out of construction paper. Fold the square in half to create a beak. Write items to be thankful for on hand and glue to the pinecone. Glue paper parts and googly eyes together and glue to the pinecone.

Enjoy decorating fall-themed jars with your upper-level students. Students can use the jars as decoration, reminders of their favorite verse, or as pencil holders by removing the tea light.

Thanksgiving Plate Activity

Have your children help you make this craft for a simple, fun, and meaningful way to encourage thankfulness. On one plate, grab a pen and a ruler and divide the plate into 8 sections. In each space, write what you are thankful for. On the second paper plate, cut to create an opening. Add the title “I am thankful for…” and attach the brass fastener in the center of both plates.
